Abstract:Abstract: Osteoclasts originate from hematopoietic stem cells and are bone-specific multinucleated cells responsible for bone resorption. Osteoclasts play an important role in the regulation of bone metabolism balance. The abnormal formation and differentiation of osteoclast could result in a series of clinical diseases. The process of osteoclast formation and differentiation is regulated by many factors. In recent years, more and more studies have focused on the regulatory roles of miRNAs in the process of osteoclast differentiation. Here the review of the related miRNAs affecting osteoclast differentiation is provided for the future research.
