Abstract:Abstract: DNA nanotechnology has become a new field in tumor research due to its strong molecular loading, good stability, editability and biocompatibility. Aptamer is a short oligonucleotide sequence (RNA or ssDNA), which can fold into a specific three-dimensional structure and bind to a target with high specificity and affinity. Combination of aptamers and DNA nanostructures will integrate characteristics of target recognition, biological imaging and drug delivery, having a good application prospect in life sciences, especially in tumor research. Herein, the characteristics and advantages of both DNA nanostructures and aptamers are intro-duced, and the research progresses of the aptamer-DNA nanostructure combination in tumor marker detec-tion, targeted imaging, and targeted drug delivery are reviewed. In addition, their applications are prospected, in hope of providing a new strategy for targeted diagnosis and treatment of tumors.
