Abstract:Abstract: Viral myocarditis (VMC) is an infectious cardiac disease caused by multiple viruses, among which Coxsackie virus B3 (CVB3) is the most common. The typical manifestations of VMC are myocardial injury and necrosis caused by cardiomyocyte inflammatory responses, and eventually progressing to chronic inflammation or dilated cardiomyopathy, with high rates of morbidity and mortality in humans. At present, anti-inflammatory treatment of Coxsackie B3 viral myocarditis is still unsatisfactory, and the relevant immune anti-inflammatory mechanism is not fully elucidated. Exploring its immune and anti-inflammatory mechanism may be an important target for its treatment. Therefore, the latest immune and anti-inflammatory studies on Coxsackie B3 viral myocarditis were reviewed from six aspects, including the effects of Wnt11 gene, macrophages, galectin-3, zinc-finger antiviral protein, melittin and valproic acid.
