Abstract:Abstract: Quantitative detection, as a common analytical method in biochemical study, could reveal the differences not only at protein expression level but also the status of post-translational modification. It is very helpful to understand the active state of enzymes, signaling pathways and interaction network of active molecules. With the superiority of high throughput, high sensitivity, high resolution, biological mass spectrometry has made a qualitative leap of quantitative detection technology which promote the development of proteomics research in different fields. Mass spectrometry-Multiple reaction monitoring (MS-MRM) techno-logy emerged in recent years has been widely used in targeted quantitation of proteomics research and attracted the attention of many researchers. By consulting literature materials, the principles and characteristics of MS-MRM techniques combined with stable isotope labeling were described and the progress in recent years was also summarized. In addition, the limitations of the method and the related strategies were discussed to facilitate the application of this technique in the practice of biological study.
