Abstract:Abstract: Low temperature is an important environmental factor limiting plant growth and distribution. Plants can acquire cold acclimation mechanism in the process of long-term adaptation to the environment. To date, the CBF/DREB1 dependent signaling pathway is the most thoroughly studied signal pathway for the cold responsive mechanism. The plant CBF/DREB1 signaling pathway, potential cold receptors, cold response signal molecules, signal transduction pathways and cross-talks between low temperature and plant hormones are herein reviewed. These previous studies on the molecular mechanism of plant responses to low temperature have theoretical guidance and practical value for crop molecular breeding.
