Abstract:Abstract: Liver cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world and has a high mortality rate due to poor prognosis. Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of liver cancer. Tran-scription factors are regulatory factors that regulate expressions of target genes by binding to target gene promoters during cellular transcription. Transcription factors can regulate various aspects of liver cancer in a variety of ways. The regulatory roles of transcription factors in related processes of HCC initiation and deve-lopment are summarized, including virus infection, cell proliferation, apoptosis, metastasis and viability, and acting as biomarkers for diagnosis and therapy of liver cancer.
