Abstract:Abstract: In this paper, the main compositions and quality evaluation system of the tea-oil, impact of biotic and abiotic stresses on growth and development of Camellia oleifera and its counter measures, variety breeding and cultivation, regulation of biosynthetic pathways and resource utilization were reviewed. Plant hormones are indispensable for plant growth and development. It is of great significance for breeding high-yield varie-ties to study their roles in C. oleifera and to develop safe and efficient stimulants. Bio-fertilizer can regulate plant growth and increase crop yield. The development and utilization of multifunctional bio-fertilizer will increase the yield of C. oleifera. A combination of genetic transformation system construction with multi-omics analysis to study the metabolic pathways of oil synthesis can provide new ideas for C. oleifera molecular breeding.
